What happens when it rains on your wedding day? Make the most of it like Billie & Jim did on their rainy Wisconsin wedding day. Phew… get your umbrellas out because it was a wet one. The forecast in the week approaching Billie & Jim’s wedding day showed sunny skies for that Saturday until…. the day before when all of a sudden we knew we’d be in for a good soaking rain ALL DAY LONG. What do you do? There isn’t much you can do except change locations for your First Look, have backup ceremony locations and smile and laugh about when you tell your grandchilden how much fun you had despite the grey skies that opened up throughout the day.
I called Billie the morning of the wedding knowing we’d have to make some changes to our locations and schedule and guess what? It turned out perfectly. We ended up finding some amazing locations that kept us out of the elements and then they danced the night away! I remember Billie mentioning that it was fitting that it rained because of how they met (over an overflowing toilet). So let’s raise our glasses to this awesome couple!
