Though they had lived in neighboring towns, Kayla and Josh hadn’t ever met but back in April of 2016 Josh sent Kayla a friend request on Facebook, and because Kayla thought he was cute she sent him a message and the rest is history! This past year they were married at an elegant fall wedding at Lilydale in Chippewa Falls.
Fast forward to 2019 – Josh & Kayla ordered a pizza and Josh drove out to Kayla’s grandparents to check the trail cameras. While Josh’s dad was hiding in the tree stand, Josh had Kayla check the trail camera. When she opened it up there was a picture of Josh holding a sign that said, “Will you marry me?” After that Josh got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife. She said yes!
With rain drizzle the morning of the wedding and during the ceremony, we weren’t sure how many outside photos we would get the day of Kayla & Josh’s wedding at Lilydale in Chippewa Falls, but we were lucky! It passed us just enough during the important times outside to get some absolutely beautiful & soft images with the horses in the pasture.
