Tashanna & John spent over a year and a half of their relationship long-distance. With John working in Steven’s Point and Tashanna in Eau Claire at the time they visited each other on weekends for a long stretch of time until Tashanna moved closer to John. But when John proposed at Discovery Cove in Orlando with the dolphins, they knew that Eau Claire would be the area where they would hold their wedding.
Planning a wedding in the midst of a pandemic isn’t for the faint of heart – but these two decided that pandemic or not they would get married on their original wedding date. Though they had planned to get married at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Eau Claire with a reception at The Florian Gardens, in 2020 it just wasn’t in the cards for the safety of their guests. So they shared a sweet and intimate ceremony at IC and gorgeous photos after for their Eau Claire micro wedding at Phoenix Park.
