In June of 2016 two separate groups of friends decided to go out to a salsa club – and it was there on the dance floor of that salsa club that Michael spotted Emily. Michael walked up to Emily, asked her to dance and spent the rest of the night on the dance floor together! It also just so happened that these two were both in Dental School at Marquette in Milwaukee, too!
These two love to travel, love their two teddy bear dogs (remember them from their engagement session?!) and so it was so very fitting that Michael proposed to Emily while they were on a family vacation together in North Carolina. Michael had it all planned out to propose but then it started to pour and was cold during their hike with the dogs. But at the top, Michael got down on his knee and asked Emily to be his wife – rain, fog, dogs and all. She said YES!
Just this past Saturday Emily & Michael were married at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Eau Claire. Then they danced the night away starting with sparklers outside in the Indigo Garden at their bold, beautiful and bright wedding at The Florian Gardens.
While these two jetted off to Morocco for their SECOND wedding ceremony (that was to be a super secret surprise for Emily — including her gown that Michael’s grandmother is making for her) you get a little preview of their beautiful & joy-filled day.
