Back at the beginning of September I first met up with Elizabeth & Andrew for their engagement photos in Eau Claire, and although it was sunny it was probably one of the windiest days we’ve had all year and we ended up just calling it a day because it was to the point that it was blowing us over! Fast forward to this week where they joined me in Bloomer to finish up their woodsy Wisconsin engagement session!
Elizabeth & Andrew grew up in the same small town of Marathon – but it wasn’t until they were nearly done with high school that they started talking. Who knew that study hall would bring them together? With the help of some classmates, they went out on their very first date – a movie & ice cream!
These two nurses got engaged in July of 2018 – after first asking for Elizabeth’s father for her hand Andrew invited some of their friends on a trip to the Upper Penninsula of Michigan. Before heading out to dinner that night it was suggested they all head to a lighthouse at McLain State Park, though the wind was blowing hard and the waves were crashing Andrew got down on one knee and asked Elizabeth to marry him.
I can’t wait for their wedding next October in Wausau!
